Protection against direct fire and thermal radiation
Supply of breathable air
Emotional management
FS2 - Collective fireproof shelter
Product Features

Special multi-layer fabric
The FS2's multi-layer aluminized fabric provides exceptional insulation against heat and thermal radiation, delaying the transmission of flame energy into the shelter. In addition, its Kevlar seams give it high mechanical resistance, increasing the shelter's reliability.

Pneumatic structure
The shelter features a pneumatic support structure that inflates in seconds with the addition of breathable air, preventing direct contact between the fabric and the occupants and improving its protective properties. It also allows for a compact footprint when transporting.

Breathable air distribution system
Compatible with ERA and Carbotainer bottles. With individual masks for each occupant.

Lighting system
Mixed chemical-LED system for stress reduction during entrapment situations.

Collective Fireproof Shelter
A Collective Fireproof Shelter is an essential lifesaving system for firefighters, wildland crews, and emergency response teams operating in extreme fire conditions. Engineered to offer maximum thermal protection, this shelter provides a safe, insulated environment capable of withstanding intense radiant heat, high temperatures, and rapidly advancing fire fronts.
At ISK Fire Survival, we design and manufacture a certified Collective Fireproof Shelter specifically developed to protect entire teams during entrapment situations—critical moments when escape routes disappear, the fire becomes unpredictable, and survival depends on having the right protective equipment.
What Is a Collective Fireproof Shelter and Why Is It Crucial?
A Collective Fireproof Shelter is a portable, fire-resistant enclosure designed to shield multiple responders during severe fire exposure. It is a vital tool in extreme emergencies because:
Thermal radiation can become deadly in seconds
Fire behavior can shift abruptly due to wind or terrain
Escape routes may close instantly during rapid fire progression
Dense smoke can impair visibility and mobility
Entrapment scenarios are increasingly common in modern wildfires
In these situations, a Collective Fireproof Shelter provides a critical protective barrier that can mean the difference between life and fatal injury.
ISK Collective Fireproof Shelter: Certified Protection for Real Emergency Conditions
The Collective Fireproof Shelter developed by ISK Fire Survival is a core component of the Integral Safety Kit (ISK). It is designed to deliver rapid deployment, maximum heat shielding, and group protection during the most dangerous stages of an entrapment.
Key features of the ISK Collective Fireproof Shelter:
Multi-layer fireproof materials
Built to withstand extreme radiant heat and indirect flame exposure.Lightweight and portable construction
Allows firefighters to transport and deploy the shelter in seconds.Capacity for multiple team members
Designed to protect entire crews inside a single shelter.Sealed, insulated interior
Minimizes heat infiltration and reduces exposure to toxic smoke.Certified and field-tested
Evaluated in real wildfire and structural fire scenarios to ensure performance when conditions are most critical.
How to Use a Collective Fireproof Shelter During an Emergency
The shelter is engineered for fast, efficient deployment to maximize survival time:
Choose the safest possible area, ideally clear of nearby fuels.
Deploy the shelter quickly and completely.
Enter immediately with the entire crew.
Close and seal the structure, preventing heat and smoke intrusion.
Remain sheltered until the fire front passes or assistance arrives.
A Collective Fireproof Shelter is not meant for long-term exposure, but rather to provide essential protection during the peak intensity of a fire entrapment event.
Who Needs a Collective Fireproof Shelter?
This shelter is indispensable for:
Wildland firefighting brigades
Structural firefighting teams
Industrial fire response units
Rapid intervention and rescue units
Specialized emergency crews operating in extreme conditions
Its durability, reliability, and speed of deployment make it a critical component of modern fire safety operations.
ISK Fire Survival: Protection When Everything Fails
The Collective Fireproof Shelter from ISK Fire Survival reflects our commitment to developing technologies that save lives during the world’s most extreme fire scenarios. Engineered for high-risk environments, it provides essential protection when the fire becomes overwhelming and escape is no longer possible.
Because when the fire surrounds you…
When everything fails, ISK stands.
