In September 2025, ISK Fire Survival traveled to the south of France to showcase its products and demonstrate the effectiveness of the FS1 Nozzle, designed to protect firefighters in case of entrapment.
On this occasion, demonstrations were carried out in the Principality of Monaco, at SDIS 06, 34, 30, and with the Marseille Marine Fire Brigade. These live tests highlighted the performance of the FS1 – a patented self-protection nozzle and a key device for safety in forest fire entrapments, tunnel fires, underground parking incidents, and electric vehicle fires.
The FS1 – Self-Protection Nozzle
The FS1 is one of the most innovative components of the Integral Safety Kit. Its design creates a compact protective water curtain that acts as a thermal barrier against fire, providing firefighters with critical time for evacuation or intervention in extreme scenarios.
Key applications include:
- Tunnel fires: facilitates evacuation and protects teams in confined spaces.
- Parking garage fires: offers an effective solution in emergencies within enclosed areas.
- Gas leak rescues and vapor control operations.
Thanks to its versatility and proven effectiveness, the FS1 Self-Protection Nozzle has attracted strong interest from both public and private institutions seeking certified fire self-protection solutions.
