The Individual Shelter by ISK Fire Survival represents the highest level of self-protection for wildland firefighters in fire entrapment situations. During a wildfire, fire behavior can change unpredictably. In those critical moments, the Individual Shelter allows the firefighter to take cover from temperatures that can exceed 1,000 °C, drastically reducing exposure to extreme heat. Made from multi-layer fire-resistant fabric, its ergonomic and lightweight design allows for rapid deployment in under 20 seconds, even under extreme stress.
The system is certified under UNE EN ISO 11612 and EN 469/A1, ensuring resistance to both radiant and convective heat. In addition, its structure is reinforced with Kevlar edging, providing exceptional durability and high mechanical resistance against tearing and abrasion.
