Fire Survival

Fire survival: Preparing for the unpredictable

Surviving wildfires depends on anticipation, training, and the right equipment. In extreme situations, when everything fails, ISK Fire Survival makes the difference.

Fire Survival: The key lies in self-protection

Wildfires are becoming more intense and faster. Firefighters face temperatures above 1,000 °C and rapidly changing conditions. Having self-protection systems can be the line between life and tragedy.

ISK has developed certified solutions that increase survival probabilities in entrapment scenarios. Each product in the Integral Safety Kit (ISK) complies with UNE EN ISO 11612 and EN 469/A1 standards, ensuring maximum thermal safety.

Equipment designed to resist. Fire Survival

The FS2 Collective Shelter protects up to six firefighters from radiant and convective heat. Its multilayer fireproof fabric, gas-sealing system, and breathable air supply create a safe environment during critical minutes.

The FS1 Integral Nozzle generates a protective water screen capable of resisting flame fronts up to 40 MW. Its aluminum and stainless-steel structure allows operation under the harshest conditions.

The FS4.1 Integral Skirt shields vehicles and tires from direct fire. Its four-layer fire-resistant fabric with Kevlar edges provides certified resistance to radiation and convection.

Safe zones for real survival

Survival depends not only on equipment but also on integration. ISK promotes the creation of survival zones, combining shelters, nozzles, and fireproof curtains (FS5) that insulate the cabin and keep interior temperatures under control.

These systems deploy in seconds, allowing precious time to save lives. Every second counts, and every ISK tool is designed to act quickly and effectively.

When everything fails, ISK is there

ISK’s mission is to protect those who face the fire. With patented technology, European certifications, and years of research, its solutions are used by numerous forestry firefighting units.

In the most extreme fires, the difference between danger and survival depends on preparation and equipment. That’s why ISK continues to innovate — so every firefighter has one more chance.
