Designed for

Protection against direct fire and thermal radiation

In the event of a fire entrapment, it provides protection from direct contact and convective and radiant heat behind the screen generated by the device for a flame front with a maximum power of up to 40 MW. Even if the water supply is depleted, the protective barrier generated by the retardant agent spread on the ground and vegetation continues to operate.

Rapid and efficient deployment

Thanks to its sophisticated design, the SF1 lance can be deployed in less than 20 seconds by a single person. It features three support points to maintain stability on all types of terrain and a leveling system that allows the angle of the water screen to be adjusted according to the slope of the terrain.

Wide range of action

In addition to its use for self-protection in the event of entrapment due to forest fires, the FS1 lance has proven effective in other areas, such as:

  • Protection of homes and critical infrastructure in interface zones
  • Fire sectorization in chemical industries or underground garages
  • Reduction of the risk of fire exposure for firefighters due to the unattended system.
  • Protection of rescued victims and reduction of the risk of harmful gas leaks spreading in the event of a traffic accident involving dangerous goods vehicles.
  • Protection of rescued victims in the event of aircraft accidents.
